"Truth can get you fired" - Dr. Martin Kulldorff, former professor of medecine at Harvard
Martin Kulldorff, an epidemiologist and biostatistician, has spent over a decade as a Harvard University professor and is a founding fellow at Hillsdale College's Academy for Science and Freedom. His research has been pivotal in developing advanced methods for monitoring the safety of drugs and vaccines after they reach the market and in identifying and managing infectious disease outbreaks. Notably, in October 2020, he co-authored the Great Barrington Declaration, advocating for focused protection as a strategy to address the pandemic, rather than resorting to lockdowns.
Dr. Kulldorff's work includes devising sequential statistical methods and tree-based scan statistic data mining techniques for real-time safety surveillance of post-market drugs and vaccines. These innovative approaches, designed to swiftly pinpoint potential safety concerns by analyzing frequent data feeds, adjust for multiple testing and have been adopted by the FDA and CDC for drug and vaccine safety monitoring.
In this interview, we discuss the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences, the first wave of scientific censorship, the invisibility of scientists, and the emergence of knowledge. Dr Kulldorf, who was proven right on many issues during the pandemic and has chosen to speak out conscientiously, explains what happened to him and why he is no longer a professor at Harvard. Fired as a form of "thanks" for his good and loyal service.
I am no longer a professor of medicine at @Harvard. Here is the story of my Harvard experience until I was fired for clinging to the truth.https://t.co/zSOQlNJTY2
